Swimming
Elizabeth has been taking swimming lessons the past two weeks. Today was her last day so I decided to take a day off work and go watch her. She said she was going to jump off the high dive for the first time, so I definitely wanted to be there.
I guess since it was the last day, everyone else in her class decided to skip, so she had one-on-one training with her instructor today.
Here are a few photos…
But did she jump off the high dive???
Yup, did it three times without hesitation.
Here’s one with her in mid air.
And here’s a video clip…

That looks (and sounds) potentially painful!
Good job, Elizabeth!

So I sat down to check my RSS Reader, and what was that I saw… surely it couldn’t be… a post by the Sperrys?! Just givin’ you a hard time… keep ‘em coming!
Elizabeth looks great! I remember a few years back when she refused to go to swimming lessons… she’s grown up so much!

Wow, good for her! I probably couldn’t have jumped off something that high when I was her age.

Can I ask though – how did you get this picked up and into google news?
Very impressive that this blog is syndicated through Google and is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?
Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..
The swimming greats you should write about next, my ex was an olympic swimmer!

I was just browsing and found your blog, Standing Stone. I am so excited, as I have named mine a similar name for the same reasons. We too home school and I am madly in love with Jesus and so desire to serve Him with my whole life. What a blessing to find a like minded sister in Christ.
